I was thinking that the Tales of the Buddha and some life stories of the masters of our linage would be nice as they are really interesting and also easy to listen and enjoyable too. Also very inspiriing!

1. Karmapa The Sacred Prophecy by the kagyu Thubten Choling publications committee.

2. For practicing dharma practitioners who want a concise but useful overview: " A Brief Overview of the Bardo" by Thrangu Rinpoche

3.For people who want informative readings: " Awakening the Sleeping Buddha " by Tai Situpa

4. For people who may ask for extra prayers to learn/recite - other than Chenrezig's mantra etc the Dusum Sangye Guru Rinpoche prayer is very useful for purifying and removing obstacles
