Hi all,
I was thinking that the Tales of the Buddha and some life stories of the masters of our linage would be nice as they are really interesting and also easy to listen and enjoyable too. Also very inspiriing!

Here are some books from which small sections can be chosen for readings.
1. Karmapa The Sacred Prophecy by the kagyu Thubten Choling publications committee.
2. For practicing dharma practitioners who want a concise but useful overview: " A Brief Overview of the Bardo" by Thrangu Rinpoche
3.For people who want informative readings: " Awakening the Sleeping Buddha " by Tai Situpa
4. For people who may ask for extra prayers to learn/recite - other than Chenrezig's mantra etc the Dusum Sangye Guru Rinpoche prayer is very useful for purifying and removing obstacles |

For people who want something deep and who specifically ask about emptiness:
'Commentary on the supplication to Guru Rinpoche' by Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche |
